Information for Collaborators and Potential Users
The NCXT welcomes collaboration on a wide range of scientific problems. If you feel your research can benefit from the use of soft x-ray tomography to image cells, please use the contact form to get in touch. In the first instance, a staff member will contact you to discuss the feasibility of the proposed experiments.
Collaborations can take many different forms, typically no two are identical. For example, one group may only require imaging data on a few cells, whereas the needs of other groups cannot be met using current techniques and require the development of new imaging instruments or methods.
Once a project has been deemed feasible, access to the facilities requires submission of a short proposal. These proposals are peer reviewed by an independent panel organized by the Advanced Light Source Management. Details of this process can be found here. NCXT staff can help guide you through this relatively rapid and painless procedure.
Prior to your first visit to the NCXT you should complete this short questionnaire. This will provide NCXT staff with information to ensure your time with us is as productive as possible.
